I had a great afternoon tea with my friend at PARK HYATT TOKYO. Park Hyatt Tokyo is located in Shinjuku, within walking distance to Shinjuku Station.
The lobby is the lowest of three dramatic spaces crowned by soaring glass pyramids.
We enjoyed afternoon tea at the Peak Lounge with a bright garden setting while admiring the view.
Their homemade scones and fruits of the season are awesome!

I got a blueberry cream cheese and a brulee. Blueberry one filled with sweet cheese cream! Brulee’s sugar coating was scorched. How can I resist these?

Fresh strawberries and cream are amazing. it seems to have the feeling of bliss!

These roll cakes are made with good tofu, rice powder and Japanese yummy things like kinako, bamboo charcoal, maroons, etc.
The shop is also really cute!

These eclairs including “eclair La Vague” are from Fauchon.
The eclair La Vague is a kind of cream puff with ukiyo-e “Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa” coating.
It is filled with custard which is used as a flavoring in echire butter. Not only they are beautiful to the eye, but also amazingly delicious.
BTW,Hokusai was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period.

These are small sponge cakes from “Cheese Usagi(rabbit)” series.
Rich cream cheese and custard cream filling is in a fluffy sponge cake.
Very soft and tasty. I’m sure they are perfect sweet treats for afternoon tea.

They are massive fruit and chcolate cakes compared to usual Japanese cakes, not too sweet, and very light. Very yummmmmy.

In tradition, we have a moon-viewing party at the night of the harvest moon around the middle of September to early October.
The usagi-san (dear rabbit) manju is made for the party. They are too cute to bite!
