Taco rice is a very popular dish in Okinawa. It’s tacos with the tortilla replaced with rice. Pile spicy ground meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on top of the rice and you’re done. Recently you can buy ready-made ground meat in a pouch for easy to make taco rice.
I tried making it myself. I didn’t have any cheese, so I tried putting a half-boiled egg on top. It was really good!

You know Matcha is nice flavor for almost every sweets. In these days, we can see some Hojicha sweets.
Hojicha shaved ice is perfect for Tokyo’s muggy summer days! Not too much sweeten, slightly bitter, scent of roasted tea leaf, and chilling your tongue.

26th July was the grilled Unagi (eel) day in Japan. Me and my mom went to Unagi speciality shop, and enjoy sharing soft, good, and fortifying fish against muggy summer days!
And we had sea bream chazuke. It’s also good for summer day. easy & tasty historical fast food… rice with sea bream sashimi that poured Japanese tea or dashi.

Watermelons came to my house! These are smaller than ordinary ones, still, they completely controlled my tiny fridge!
You can see how these small if compared with a spoon in front of a slice of that.

Green Cola is latest cola, caffeine-free, no coloring, no preservative, the flavor is from black malt.
And recently, my fave is seaweed snack. 4 kinds of seaweeds in the crispy chips!

Enoshima is one of the nearest resorts from Tokyo. It takes 1 hour and a half from Shibuya.
I ate “Shirasu Don (the young of sardines bowl)”, a local specialty of Enoshima.
People enjoy playing by the sea or surfing… the rest houses are under construction. summer will come soon!

I had a great afternoon tea with my friend at PARK HYATT TOKYO. Park Hyatt Tokyo is located in Shinjuku, within walking distance to Shinjuku Station.
The lobby is the lowest of three dramatic spaces crowned by soaring glass pyramids.
We enjoyed afternoon tea at the Peak Lounge with a bright garden setting while admiring the view.
Their homemade scones and fruits of the season are awesome!
Perfect for the summer season, grapefruit green tea. Put the tea and water into a pitcher and store it in the refrigerator overnight, you will get a cold grapefruit green tea! Grapefruit flavor will taste better in cold.
