Girls Run in Tokyo

Now jogging is becoming popular among the Tokyo working girls. Of course the motivation is dieting, beauty and health - the most interested things by them.

But I think that other important factor pushing the popularity is that fashionable sportswear available from major sports brands such as the “adidas by Stella McCartney”.

Re-Style Sports section at Isetan Shinjuku, the most leading department store in Japan, offers not only “adidas by Stella McCartney”, but various fashionable and pretty sportswear from overseas and domestic fashion brands, like a sport corroboration line of “Laula × arena”.

Hankyu men’s : department store in Osaka for only men’s fashion

The “men’s products only” fashion building “Hankyu men’s” has been opened at the Hankyu department store in Osaka.

They have the world-first Louis Vuitton shop that only men’s products on offer, or the world-second shop of Tom Ford, who used to work at Gucci, following its NY’s open and so on, and this must be an endlessly-so- interesting department store for those men who are into fashion.

In addition, there are many other men’s only stores of some of the luxury brand such as Bvlgari or Tiffany. On the casual-ware side, they have the Under Cover, N.HOOLYWOOD or Hysteric Glamour etc. on offer.

It sounds like that the “Isetan Men’s” for Tokyo and “Hankyu men’s” for Osaka will become the epicenters of men’s fashion in Japan. I’d love to go there with a guy with a good taste in fashion.

Board candy : Ameya Eitaro

Eitaro is a long-established candy shop. 2007, last year was the 150th anniversary!

Their Isetan-only limited candy chop is unique ;)
Many kind of beautiful candies are there… liquid candies, board candies, alphabet candies, etc.

I’ve got strawberry & almond board candies.
crunchy but melt like cotton candies!

Salon Du Chocolat in Isetan Shinjuku

I went to Salon Du Chocolat which is being held in Shinjuku Isetan.

Salon Du Chocolat is International chocolate show featuring world-class exhibitors, chef demonstrations, chocolate fashion, gifts, activities for children, and more.

It was very crowded, but I could get some sweets form “OBERWEIS” and “Henri Le Roux”. Henri Le Roux’s C.B.S. caramels make me crazy!!

Merry Green Christmas in Isetan (again)

I went to Isetan today and found there’s a green forest in the shop…
People are queueing to buy “Green Santa Christmas charity” BE@RBRICK.
I also queued and get them!!

I think it is very good kawaii become charity, but slightly disappointed they cut the woods for this event :(

Isetan,Shinjuku “VOGUE meets ISETAN!”

Isetan,Shinjuku store is the most hip department store in Japan. Not only world’s top class brands but cutting edge Indie brands, which have a promising future, stand side by side in the store and highlight the fact that buyers of Isetan,Shinjuku Store are one of the elite groups in a fashion industry of Japan.

Anyway 8tokyo staff can’t ignore this department store, so we often go there but we don’t buy much because they are so expensive.

There is a special window display project in the store put together in collaboration with “VOGUE NIPPON(Japan)”.

So we checked it out. The theme of this project was “ISETAN x VOGUEAIRLINES” where by a fictitious airline took us on a trip of the latest fashions including 100 brands from all over the world.
