Aoume”the Japanese green plum” Japanese confectionery from Akebono

Akebono is a famous Japanese-style confection store. These are Japanese sweets that are called Aoume”the Japanese green plum” from Akebono.

Aoume is honeyed Japanese green plum and sweet bean paste filling by gyuuhi (a mochi-like dough that is tender and easier to mold than mochi). The little sour Japanese green plum and sweet bean paste create the right taste and texture of this great seasonal sweets.

The box of chocolates is from 5th Avenue Chocolatiere. Thier high quality of the chocolate and the truffles are a rich and tasty.

White truffles have a great champagne flavor and an original flavor which are new items.

Tory Burch new flagship boutique in Tokyo VIP party

Tory Burch opened her new flagship, Ginza boutique on December 8th. Takako and I(Yoko) were invited to the VIP party at Tory Burch.

(One of readers from NY asked to Tory Burch company that we could attend the party. Thank you so much Danielle and Margot !）

There were many models and celebrities known as fans of Tory Burch. In front of the ball room, Tory Burch with models had photo shooting and interview session by lots of media.

We were so excited to be there!

Tory Burch’s fashion show was held two times at the night.

Tory Burch was so busy, but takako could take a photo with her (sorry we can’t put it on this article) .

Dress code was NY chic, so Takako was dressed in little black dress(Paul & Joe Siste) and new shoes of Tory Burch, and I was in silk ruffle cami(yellow), black skirt and black shoes(marc by MARC JACOBS). Everyone dressed up. We had an amazing night!

Tory Burch Ginza store soft opening

Tory Burch’s first free-standing boutique in Japan is coming to Ginza(Google Maps). The boutique will be opening later this month. But for those who can’t wait, the store is having a soft opening since December 8th.

We went there to get an exclusive, limited edition Ginza Tote. When you purchase the tote, there may be a “golden ticket” inside that will give you access to a private VIP party on December 17th. We couldn’t get it. But there is a chance you can win!

And also, The store clerk let me know that there will be a meet-and-greet at the store on December 16th where you can meet Tory Burch from 6-8 p.m. Anyone can attend and meet the designer face-to-face.

Japanese fashion cahin store UNIQLO started to sell +J line. All +J itemse are supervised by JIL SANDER.

They are sold at limited stores. I went to Ginza store to buy some jackets and shirts. Some of thoese stores are in Korea, HongKong, Shanghai, Paris, London and NY.

MARIAGES FRERES is a French Tea Salon where not only you can buy teas but also you can have a lunch　and sweets with great teas.

They have fine choice of 500 teas.

My friend and I had a afternoon tea set each and had a great time with luxurious French teas.
