“Yuru chara” means weaker characterized characters. Japanese illustration artist, Jun Miura named that concept “Yuru chara” firstly. Yuru Chara does not like Disney’s charactor and Japanese animation. Most of them are designed with amateurism.

My friend has stationary brand, bonboog. She made new item. It’s a ball pen with dry flower. That name is Classic pen. I have mimoza flower pen.

art-bookshop&cafe is specialty craft book store in Jinbo-cho, Tokyo. They have gallery space and sell products made by hand-craft artist.

I bought a sakiori bag & card case made by Asako Murakami. Sakiori is woven cloth made by used cut cloth. She is famous sakiori artist, lives in Aomori. She has many fans. I’m one of them, too.

Fugeiten is a project of textile crafts with a modern attitude, collaborating with traditional craftsmen in the provinces, or making with vintage clothing in japan.

We held it at Kagoshima DWELL Playmountain for Jan. 9 - 25. It also was held in Venice, US.

kami no kousakujo (means paper craft house) held the exhibition named “kami no kousaku cafe”.

they showed some latest products and gave us some explanations with hot tea and Japanese tiny hexangular sugar “wasanbon”.

piece of cake shaped birthday cards in the cake box, DIY tiny paper panoramas, easy to make paper plates memos… and more. these products are stunning!
