I went to the opening reception of “MANGART BEAMS T” brand in Daikanyama. “MANGART” means “Manga” + “Art”. This brand is selling mainly T-shirts printed with Manga.
Osamu Tezuka (as known “Astro Boy“, “Princess Knight“), Kazuo Umezu (as known “Orochi: Blood”, “The Drifting Classroom“) , Takehiko Inoue (as known “Slam Dunk“,) and so on., Many manga artists’ characters are on T-shirts.
New BEAMS Daikanyama store has three buildings of 2 floors. One of them is “MANGART BEAMS T”.
I think Blythe is a most famous doll today. The doll was sold in 70s for once, but not good sales. Its unbelievable now…
You can buy so many type of Blythe dolls in Junie Moon. Even if you wish to make them more kawaii, the shop has started the hair salon for Blythe dolls :O

I went to the christmas party hosted by Balcony last friday. Every one had a good time with organic foods. They are cute models wearing dresses by Balcony.
“yen ware exhibition” has been held at the collex LIVIN in Daikanyama. “yen ware” is a carbolated design brand by Rui Fukuda, a potter, and Toshirou Nakamura, a graphic designer.
The father of Rui, who has been influenced by Bernard Leach had restored the “shodaiyaki” pottery studio, and Rui has took it over from him as the second generation
successor. At the opening party, people enjoyed Udon, Onigiri rice-ball and SAKEserved there.
