“OZ magazine” is full of local Tokyo information, art and travel information, and more. The topic of this month’s edition is “sweets” (”oyatsu” in Japanese.) In Japan, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. “tea time” is called “oyatsu time.”

There is lots of information about the newest cute sweet shops in Tokyo, as well as information about mail-order sweets from all over the country. It’s hard to decide which sweets to try, or where to go to buy them!

This is a cafe in Kyoto that is inside of a renovated old western-style building. It has high ceilings that give it a nice spacious feel.

There are always lots of customers, but Kyoto’s relaxed atmosphere and the comfortable environment will let you relax. The lunch course was also delicious!

Kyoto international manga museum

This is the place I like the most in Kyoto! We renovated a closed school building for making this museum. Therefore, we use classrooms as manga exhibition rooms.

In this museum you can read manga freely as you want! Some read manga in a hallway. Others lie back and read manga on a tatami mat. You can also sit reading manga on the terrace or on the lawn.

This museum holds a workshop for drawing manga and painting anime figures. We also invite a manga celebrity for a talk show. Here is the place we can enjoy ourselves whenever we visit. I want to live in here if possible!

Mitarashi-matsuri

Mitarashi-matsuri, a festival that is held every summer at Shimogamo-shrine in Kyoto.

Only during the festival, people are allowed to step into the pond with deity water of the shrine. Soak feet in the beautiful and cool pond, light a candle, then have the water of the shrine.

This is a festival for people to remove their sins and impurities and to wish for their health and longevity.

Enoshima Aquarium Gashapons

I LOVE Enoshima Aquarium because of their special jellyfish fantasy hall I introduced before.

I went to there again and this time I challenged to the famous Gashapon, limited sales at eight Aquariums in Japan.

I couldn’t get my wish item, blue jelly fish. :’( But all of these are awesome modeling!

Half day trip to Enoshima

Enoshima is one of the nearest resorts from Tokyo. It takes 1 hour and a half from Shibuya.

I ate “Shirasu Don (the young of sardines bowl)”, a local specialty of Enoshima.

People enjoy playing by the sea or surfing… the rest houses are under construction. summer will come soon!

Now Japanese fashion trend focus on “Yama Girl”(Mountain Girl).
They named eco like and fashionable outdoor girls as Yama Girl.

One of Yama Girl magazines “randonee” features camping, trekking, rave parties and rock festivals. Such Styles are coordinated by outdoor gear brands, AIGLE, Columbia, Mellel, and so on.

Mori girl would change to Yama Girl.
