I met Takako and she gave me this cute and good cookie box as a gift!
Waraku Beniya is a famous confectionary but this is limited souvenir at ecute Ueno and their website. Ueno station is popular with Ueno zoo, and the zoo is popular for panda.
One of the “kawaii panda cookie” flavor, berry cookie with cream is lovely color and of course good. Thank you Takako! :)

Hiyoko Manju is famous chick-shaped Tokyo souvenir sweets, (but it was born in Fukuoka originally) they celebrate 100th year anniversary!
Now they have limited edition boxes with cute gold chick cell phone strap. It says “Happiyo Birthday!” piyo is like a cheeping in Japanese.

I got a very fancy sponge cake from Tsukiji-Chitose.
The taste, the box and the wrapping paper are made in very Japanese style.
Also, it is very interesting that the gelee which is contained inside of the very soft sponge cake is made from seaweed soup and black bean soy sauce.

My friend and I went to Fugetsudo in Ginza to have some sweets and tea.
We had their seasonal sweet, a strawberry pie.
It looked very beautiful, and it was so good!
Also, they gave us their famous baked confectionery, Baumkuchen.
We had very comfortable time with very wonderful cake and tea.

My friend gave me a chocolate Baumkuchen from Le Chocolat de H.
This chocolate baumkuchen was contained a very beautiful box.
And, the taste was very good. It was very moist, and it had very rich and a scent of chocolate.
My family and I had a good tea time.

My friend and I went to Shangri-la Hotel Tokyo to have afternoon tea with Harney & Sons.
Shangri-la Hotel had planned an afternoon tea with Harney & Sons in order to get familiar with the tea more because of ‘the day of tea’ in Japan,
November 1st that was a special only 4-days afternoon tea party.
However, the American very fancy tea brand, Harney & Sons in New York is loved by the world.
And, Mr. Emeric Harney who is a master tea blender of Harney & Sons came to the Shangri-la hotel Tokyo, and he introduced the special blend tea for us.
Also, we got a small present of his tea that was Winter White Earl Grey.

My friend and I just stopped by Lindt at Ginza.
And, we had their iced dark chocolate drinks after we had dinner.
It was incredibly good taste.
We had very sweet time with the lovely iced chocolate drinks.

My friend and I went to a coffee shop, ‘Hoshino-coffee’ at warabi-shi, Saitama pref. where my friend lives.
We had their wonderful souffle pancakes with maple syrup and hot cafe latte.
The thick and very soft souffle pancakes made us a big smile.
I will try the double pancake next time.
