Overnight trip to Hotel Nikko Tokyo 3

We had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel.

And, it was a buffet style breakfast.
We were able to have whatever we wanted. We got a beautiful omelet which a chef made for us in front of us.

Everything was perfect; however, one of my favorite breakfast was a small curry doughnut. It was difficult to stop eating for me.

Overnight trip to Hotel Nikko Tokyo 2

My friend and I went to a cafe in the hotel lounge, and we had sandwiches, cakes and tea.
They were just perfect, and we enjoyed the very fine tea time.

Also, we were fascinated with the beautiful night view of Odaiba.
Odaiba is one of famous places for night view in Tokyo.
We enjoyed watching a lot of floating houseboats with colorful lights on the ocean.

Overnight trip to Hotel Nikko Tokyo 1

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Nikko at Odaiba in Tokyo.

We were very relaxed and had great time on weekend.

The hotel room was very light and airy. We loved the large window with a nice view.

Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue

ginkgo_1

Every year, I and my family cannot welcome winter without going to Jingu Gaien Gingko Avenue.
It’s almost the time to sunset, yellow leaves are turned into burning orange.

Medetaiyaki

I got Medetaiyaki and Medetaiyaki Tenugui (traditional cotton towel) after waiting in line in Kabukiza.

medetai_3

Medetai means like happy, joy or congrats, and you know taiyaki is sea bream shaped Japanese sweets. Medetai+taiyaki=Medetaiyaki sounds happy for Japanese. And more, sweet bean-paste with red (pink) and white mochi dumpling in the tummy of it! Red and white are also happy colour for us. The shop is only for Kabukiza, of course it is very popular and good.

And Medetaiyaki tenugui is so cute!! I love the pattern of the towel… one of Medetaiyaki shows its mochi dumplings from tummy.

Then we queued for tako-senbei (octopus cracker). The sea around there is not very clear but the sea wind makes me feel comfortable.

I enjoyed their latest wonderful water tank named Jellyfish Planet.
Blue jellyfishes were floating in the globe.

Other big jellyfish water tanks had lighting and sounds show too. These were so beautiful!

My friend gave me a cheese cake, ‘Tokyo Pure White’ from The Cheese Garden where the original shop is at Nasukougen in Tochigi Pref.
‘Tokyo Pure White’ is sold at Tokyo Soramachi. And, it came out when the Cheese Garden was opened at Tokyo Soramachi.

It is very soft and creamy. Also, I really love the rich and tasty cheese cake.
