I blogged about Ivan Ramen Plus 2 years ago, I still love this ramen shop.
And this was the first time to drop in there at lunch time.
We can choose a ramen from some of their special ramen with a small rice bowl (slow-boiled semi-raw egg rice bowl or roast pork rice bowl) as lunch time special  price menu.
I chose salt (shio) ramen with slow-boiled semi-raw egg (onsentamago) rice ball. Of course these are good as always!

My friend took me a natural restaurant, ‘Hi Mizu Tuchi’ in Ginza for lunch.

We had a lunch course which was the chef’s recommendation. We really enjoyed the good foods and the wonderful and colorful presentations on the dishes. Also, I was very comfortable in the cozy room.

The fire show was exciting – edible raw Shamo chicken were on heated lava stone plate, pour Shochu liquir, then fire! It was fun and very good, and 3 kind of special sauces for the chicken were good with the meat.

Morning Market in KOKESHI-YA

kokeshi_3

I went to a morning market held at the KOSESHI-YA, which is located about three minutes walk from Nihsi-Ogikubo station, on 2nd Wednesday of every month.

The market was crowded with many visitors.

At the market, the char-grilled lamb and delicious omelet, which are usually served at the restaurant, were cooked in front of the visitors and served.

Every food just cooked before my nose was fresh and delicious.

If you go there at lunch time, you can choose a soft drink for free and a tiny salad bowl come with the plate.
I’ve got baked cinnamon apple pancake with vanilla ice cream. The cafe is not only for pancakes, but good burgers and sandwiches. I’ll try NY style pastrami sandwich when I go there next time!

Shimokitazawa Kadoya

kadoya_1

Kadoya is a casual izakaya in Shimokitazawa.
You can have some interesting and good “Osaka food” at there.
I tried tonpei-yaki, fresh chopped cabbage and well-done pork slice are wrapped in thin omelette. It’s like okonomiyaki, but crispy cabbage says its difference.

It’s always fun to watch kitchen-show, many different menu are cooking with one big hot steel plate at Teppan-yaki place.
