dino_brooch_0

I joined a workshop at Hint7 in Shibuya Tokyu Hands to make a Dino brooch of enamel technique.

Two dinosaur shapes were ready, we could choose from Triceratops or Stegosaurus.
Both of me and my friend’s choices are the same – Triceratops.

We put colorful glass sands on the dino little by little, put some wires to make its faces, then design our own dino’s back and tail by small pieces of glasses.

Teacher of the workshop “Cremocarp” baked them and attached the brooch pins for us.
It was quite fun experience to make cute enamel brooches!

I stopped by “Shibu-san Acryl (渋産アクリル)” at 8/01/COURT mini exhibition space in Hikarie.
Shibu-san is a coined word from “Shibuya (渋谷)” and “san (産 – means like born or made in)”.
This project is a collaboration of Showa Womens University and acrylic craftsman who working in Shibuya.

The Dam Keeper

shortshorts

I was so much looking forward to going SHORT SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL & ASIA 2014, because finally I could watch the animated short film “The Dam Keeper”!

The directors of the film are Robert Kondo and Daisuke Tsutsumi, Pixer’s most talented animation artists. They didn’t have experience of directors in the company, so they thought they should challenge for their own lovely film…  And yes, consequently they got many awards all around the world’s film festivals.

The film was just wonderful!! Please check the trailers. I do hope you could watch the whole movie very soon.

Tips for Sherlock fans; the narrator of this film is the actor of CAM :)

Special limited Kiki & Lala floral honeybee tote bag

kikilala_4

8tote collaborated with Little Twin Stars, for their special limited pop-up store in Osaka and Hukuoka!

One of a way of reading of “8″ is “hachi” in Japanese, the pronunciation is same as “bee”, and also 8 is a lucky number in Japan.
Mitsubachi (honeybee) tote” is maybe little too long for non-Japanese speaker, so the brand name became 8tote outside Japan, like a wordplay! :)

That’s also the reason why Kiki & Lala wearing honeybee costume here. The pop-up store theme is “floral”, so they are enjoying spring with cute flower fabric and little honeybees on this tote bag.

Because of they are hiding inside, you’ll meet them only when you open the bag… It’s like friends in a secret garden!
