He ride on the Kart that we saw in the game “Mario Kart Wii”. these are so tiny, the total length of the car is about 5cm (2inch).

MOOMIN Bakery & Cafe
The Moomins (Swedish: Mumintroll, Finnish: Muumi) are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish by Schildts in Finland.
They are a family of trolls who are white, round and furry in appearance, with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses.
My friend gave me some presents from MOOMIN Bakery & Cafe. A stuffed Moomin, Moomin family pasta and a spaghetti tong. The pasta and the spaghetti tong are shaped like Hattifatteners which are my favorite character.

Hello-Kitty’s bamboo rake at “Asakusa-TORINOICH”
I went to “TORINOICH” in Asakusa. “TORINOICH” is an anual festival held in many places around Tokyo in Nov. And the most famous is this one at Asakusa.
I found Hello-Kitty’s bamboo rake. A special thing on Torinoichi was “Bamboo Rake for good luck”.
A highly decorated bamboo rake was particular popular as goods to bring happiness and prosperity in business. That seemed to be contributed by Hello-Kitty’s company “Sanrio”.
Japan is also in resession time. Many people there prayed thier business success on next year.

kawaii Managa 3 : Yotsuba&! (Yotsubato!)
Yotsuba&! (as known in Japanese “Yotsubato!”) is a very popular manga series by Kiyohiko Azuma. Not only Japanese girl, many people love them.
Yotsuba is a main character. She is 5 years old young girl. This story are depicted her daily summer holiday life with her father and neighborhoods.
Most of Japanese people love summer vacation at the best in a year, so I think it might be why this manga is attractive to Japanese.

This is “Danbo” (cardboard robot). Danbo was represented on the story that Yotsuba and her friends made a robot with cardboard on summer homework (incruded in vol. 6).
