I went to my friend’s wedding the other day.
At the reception the brides mother designed an original tenugui that was given to all attendees.
I heard that it was ordered and made from a tenugui specialist store called ”KAMAWANU”.
It was an incredibly cute tenugui that was based off of the motif of a chrysanthemum that had the meaning of my friend’s pet cat and perpetual youth and longevity.

I found black bottles with no labels in the store.
There’s a logo… “PROPERTY OF Coca-Cola”. This is reproduct of Hutchinson bottle, that was used around 1899.
Contents of the bottle is exactly same as ordinary Coca-Cola. But isn’t it nostalgic even we didn’t exist at the time?
In the height of classical Japan the aristocracy would finely shave a fragrant tree, the Koboku, and lace it in Japanese paper. By adding this to their correspondence they added emotions and thoughts that cannot be conveyed through writing alone. This is called FUMIKOU.
MOTTAINAI FUMIKOU is pretty type of FUMIKOU made using loose parts.
This product was created based on the ideal of carefully using whole pieces of cloth from edge to edge.
These pretty multi-colored parts are ideal for attaching to letters or putting in your bag.

On September 23rd, a new ecute location opened up in Akabane station.
ecute is a business started by the JR East Japan Rail Company that operates inside of train stations. It sells groceries and a variety of other goods from within the ticket gates.
ecute already had seven locations within a number of stations including Tokyo, Ueno, and Shinagawa. The one at Akabane makes number eight.
When you pass through the ticket gates, you will be greeted by a number of fascinating stores you never thought possible within a station. Perhaps from now on, you will start going to the station not just to get on the train, but to go shopping as well!

I got a nice present from my friend the other day.
It is the world’s only semi-custom made notebook that a stationery shop named KAKIMORI created, which is located near Kuramae Station on the subway line. At KAKIMORI, you can make an original notebook to order by selecting a cover sheet, inside paper and the size.
The cover page is blue, which is my favorite color.
It’s too nice to use, but it is exciting to think how I will use it.
