The 365 Charming Everyday Things daily calendar

365-01

365-03

This year, the event 365 Charming Everyday Things, which brought together a years worth (365 items) of made-in-Japan everyday things, was held in Paris and Tokyo.

At the event, 365 different kinds of everyday products were on sale, last but not least of which was the event’s catalog, in the shape of a daily calendar.

I didn’t go to this event but my friend gave me the calendar as a present.

365-02

Now then, I wonder what kind of everyday product will be featured today?

You can choose special Knit-shock ready-made watch from black or grey cats, or DIY kit!
I got a kit for trying to make my original black cat, which has green eyes and purple whiskers.

Though I’m bad at stitches, the neko (cat) was not very hard work!

I attached extra rubber bands to the watch, so it can be 2 way using.
Ordinary it is for wrist band, and it can be a charm for tote bags.

Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore

DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA3

I went to the Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore at the newly built shopping complex called Daikanyama T-SITE.

DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA4

DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA6

The space is lined with buildings in a T-shaped motif, many of them specialist shops such as restaurants, a camera shops and an electrically assisted bicycle shops.

DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA2

The Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore is made up of three buildings. It’s completely different from the other Tsutaya shops up until now, selling mainly books, and as a bookstore, it is a space that can be fully enjoyed by children and adults.

Of course, there are well-stocked DVD and CD corners, and you can probably find movies for enthusiasts of various tastes there as well. Since you can do returns by mail for free from anywhere in Japan, even people who live far away can rent there care-free.

It truly was an enjoyable space, such that you could spend hours there without getting tired of it.
I think I will definitely end up going there again many times in the future.
