I dropped into the hara donuts in Kichijoji on the way home from work after thinking I would like to relax for a bit in a cafe.

hara donuts was started by a tofu maker in Kobe and makes donuts using ingredients like bean curd and soy milk.

The exterior of the store and the donuts on display are really cute.

I ate one donut that was covered in chocolate, as well as another flavored like lemon tea.
With such mild and delicious flavors it seemed like I would not be able to stop, but since I am on a diet I was able to hold back.

Jinnan Curry curry bread

jinnann-curry2

I went to Jinnan Curry, which opened in March this year on Shibuya’s Bunkamura Street.

This restaurant offers additive-free curry that you can eat without worrying.

I tried their curry bread.

The outside was crisp and easy to chew, and the inside was full of delicious curry.

They bake their bread using natural yeast, making it soft and very tasty.

Passing through the business town, modern garden appears.
This is yoyogi village. Good and health- conscious shops are in there.
I had a special blend tea that made of herbs and flowers.
穿過商業區,一座很時尚的公園映入眼帘。這就是代々木VILLAGE. 那裡有很注重健康,好逛的商店。我點了有草本植物和花混合特製的茶喔。

Drop a heart shaped jasmin green tea in the pot, then tea leaf slowly open and pop up a red flower with white butterfly.
It is like a dreamy show and fragrance of the tea is spread over the room.

I went with a friend to CAFE MAME-HICO in Shibuya.

Before we opened the door, we could smell the beautiful scent of coffee.

They are very particular with the coffee here, and apparently they grind the coffee beans for each cup after being ordered.

Cafe Pause

CafePause1

CafePause2

CafePause, located right near Ikebukuro’s Junkudo bookstore, is one of my favorite cafes. I go there all the time when I find myself in Ikebukuro.

CafePause3

Whenever I go, I always order their chocolate and sour cherry cake. It’s a nice, moist chocolate sponge cake with a generous layer of tart cherry and cream filling—absolutely wonderful.

It’s the perfect spot to unwind after I buy some good books at Junkudo.
