vintage SEIKO ladies bracelet watch

vintage SEIKO ladies' watch ('68)

I don’t know the eras in real time, so maybe it’s not only the throwback sentiment, I’m in love with old time culture and products, especially 1900 – 20s and 50s – 70s.

Through our friend’s ongoing watch-repairing project, he shows me one of his latest works, vintage SEIKO ladies bracelet watch that was manufactured in 1968.
The lovely watch is white gold plated and still shining beautifully. I especially like the tiny cursive SEIKO logo. It’s always fun to wind watches up and hear they start ticking small sounds.

Have you ever know small (and really good, I LOVE the place) Ukiyo-e Ota museum is in Harajuku? Kamawanu, Tenugui speciality branch shop is on the basement floor of this museum.
Because of that, they’re selling some limited-selling tenugui design from Ukiyo-e.

I got “Hiroshige cats” tenugui. Cute and funny cats were inspired from the Ukiyo-e art of Hiroshige Utagawa.

Another one is not only selling at Harajuku branch, but all of Kamawanu shops. The beautiful hand dyed design named “rain”. This tenugui is only selling at rainy day. It’s very poetic.
