Black Thunder “GIRI” can

Black Thunder is a famous cheapy yummy chocolate bar with crashed biscuits and cocoa cookies.
Ordinary, you can get it at supermarkets. Children likes it, and grown-ups loves it too.

This reasonable chocolate bar hold unique campaign for Valentine’s Day.
Their copy was “One glance will be enough to make you know this is not from love but duty”.
You know Japanese girls gives chocolate not only for the guy who she loves, but her around for giri (duty) on Valentine’s Day.
Special vending machines appeared in Shinjuku underpass. First you needed to get QR code, then put it on the machine, you’d get special can for free!

Three Black Thunder bars were in it, and the special stickers crack me up… tiny black heart stickers says “GIRI” in big red letters.
Another paper was funny too, it was illustrated how-to use this can.

Finally Mister Donut’s cute character “Pon de Lion” became edible.
Of course his mane is made of “pon de ring” doughnut, and his face is made of chocolate plate. Under the plate is tiny cream-filled doughnut.

He’s so sweet as his cute face!!

Lawson TIGER & BUNNY Campaign

I’m visiting nearest Lawson almost everyday, because now they’re collaborating with TIGER & BUNNY.
Once or twice in an hour, the characters from the anime “speaks” shop announcements all over Lawson branches.

And when you buy 2 Calbee snacks, you can get a anime-illustrated file… it’s too hard for me to choose only one from 6 different designs.

Why Calbee? “Dragon Kid” one of the hero is sponsored by that company!

Domino Pizza collaborated with Star Wars Episode 1 3D movie, adding 450yen, all of their Msize pizza came with R2-D2 special box and a poster.
The box is like a R2-D2′s bust. And its functional explanation is printed on back of the box.
