Lunch at a restaurant, ‘Hi Mizu Tuchi’

My friend took me a natural restaurant, ‘Hi Mizu Tuchi’ in Ginza for lunch.
The restaurant is concerned with the use of selected ingredients such as natural cultivation and organic foods.

We had a lunch course which was the chef’s recommendation. We really enjoyed the good foods and the wonderful and colorful presentations on the dishes. Also, I was very comfortable in the cozy room.

Where are you come from? Japan has 47 prefectures. You know Tokyo is a huge metropolitan city, countless number of people come and go.
Shibuya Hikarie making a proposal of local and stylish summer gift (it is a custom peculiar to Japan) based on every prefectures specialities.

Hokkaido has a lot of special products, but the box was full of cutest junk foods – polar bear faced instant ramen, squid rice snack, and bottle of beer.

Ymagata is also famous for good fruits but the box was full of cute nostalgic packaged sweets.

I was surprised when I found a box of my hometown Tokyo. It was small rice pack and iron rice pot. I didn’t know someone still growing rice around here.
All of the presentation of the gifts were really interesting.

The star candy in the charm is edible but we can’t eat it forever, it was “frozen” in the in the clear resin.

A parfait at Joel Durand

My friend and I went to Joel durand at Ginza to have a parfait after our dinner.
I had the Liegeois A (black chocolate) that was a cold dessert made from their original ice cream, coffee, fresh cream and almond praline.

I really liked the rich taste of the cacao that give a rich aroma also. We were able to enjoy the different varieties of the flavors, aroma and textures.

I had izakaya dinner at Kurara in Ikebukuro. Their foods are based on the Kyushu district specialities.

The fire show was exciting – edible raw Shamo chicken were on heated lava stone plate, pour Shochu liquir, then fire! It was fun and very good, and 3 kind of special sauces for the chicken were good with the meat.

I got a lovely straw hat for summer from CA4LA where is a store of hats and
caps.

KAIYODO held their great works of figurines and garage kits exhibition at Tobu Ikebukuro.

I’m a big fan of their tiny freebie toys for candies and capsule gashapons – of course there’s ton of the collections of their famous figurines.(but I think it’s not whole collection!)

The well-known 5 sculptors section were also stunning. From their beautiful drawings to the finished work, all of their work were very interesting.
