My friend and I went to have a Chanko-nabe at a restaurant, Saganobori in Ginza.
Chankonabe is a hot pot dish in Japanese style that is usually eaten by sumo wrestlers in Japan.
Sumo wrestlers cook ‘chankonabe’ at their sumo stables for themselves and their boss.
‘Saganobori’ is name of a former sumo wrestler. He’s opened his chankonabe restaurant after he left the ring.
We had a course of the chankonabe with salt flavor that was included some beautiful appetizers.
And, the chankonabe was very delicious especially the meat balls.
We had a lot of fresh vegetables in the pot also.
