Chankonabe at Shibamatsu

My friend and I went to ‘Shibamatsu’ in Nakameguro to have a chankonabe.

Chankonabe is a hot pot dish that is usually eaten by sumo wrestlers in Japan.
Sumo wrestlers cook ‘chankonabe’ at their sumo stables for themselves and their boss.

We had some crab cream croquettes for an appetizer and a well-balanced shio chankonabe with a lot of vegetables and some mushrooms.
Everything was perfect.

And, we put some noodles in the soup after we finished everything.
That was great!

We got a sumo ranking list and a fan for souvenirs on the way home.
