PAO Caravan Sarai
Just outside of Higashi Nakano Station, there is an interesting restaurant called PAO Caravan Sarai that serves dishes from countries like Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
The interior has a wonderfully exotic atmosphere as well.
After toasting with kumis, an alcoholic beverage made from milk, I had crispy, delicious naan, stewed lamb, and spicy stir-fried noodles.
The dessert of chai sherbet, rice pudding and custard pudding was absolutely wonderful.
