The software was developed by manga artist Keiichi Tanaka. Keiichi is an ordinary office worker that draws manga in his spare time. However, the company he currently works for is involved with software development, which gave the opportunity to create Comipo.

It seems you can download the demo version of this software for free.
(But be careful! You can only download the demo version until November 30!)

It seems the software will be sold from December. There is a basic package, and you can buy optional new characters, clothing, etc., on top of that.

I believe this software is currently only available in Japanese.

If the software becomes more popular, English and French versions might be released.
