Hagi no Tsuki “fluffy sponge cake filled with custard cream”
“Hagi no Tsuki” is a famous local specialty of Sendai Prefecture which is now very popular throughout Japan.
It is modeled after a harvest moon and uses a lot of custard cream wrapped in a soft, high-quality sponge cake which is absolutely scrumptious. You can get them at department stores.
