Unajyu
Unagi is the Japanese word for freshwater eels. Unagi are a common ingredient in Japanese cooking. Unagi is served as part of unajyu(or unadon). a dish with sliced eel served on a bed of rice.
Unagi is rich in protein, calcium, vitamin A and E, and it’s said to give people stamina. The traditional accompaniment to unajyu(or unadon) is a small bowl of kimosui, eel liver soup.(!!)
