Do you know SANRIO CO., LTD. which developed a character of Hello Kitty ? Now,the book which edited thier characters was published, titled “Sanrio Days”.

Hello Kitty is one of the character that Sanrio developed in 70’s (1974). In 70’s, a lot of “Kawaii” characters were made. I will introduce a character at that time.

My Melody is a character of a rabbit made from a children’s story “Little Red Riding Hood” as a model.
It’s interesting that there are the character which is not introduced to any place other than Japan and already became the discontinuance. I’ll introduce a character of 80’s on the next time.
Hanami “flower viewing” is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, “flower” in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms (sakura).
The hanami celebrations usually involve eating and drinking. Some special dishes are prepared and eaten at the occasion, like hanami bento, and it’s common for sake to be drunk as part of the festivity.
They are hamami bento by NADAMAN which is a long-standing restaurant.
