Special limited Kiki & Lala floral honeybee tote bag

kikilala_4

8tote collaborated with Little Twin Stars, for their special limited pop-up store in Osaka and Hukuoka!

One of a way of reading of “8″ is “hachi” in Japanese, the pronunciation is same as “bee”, and also 8 is a lucky number in Japan.
Mitsubachi (honeybee) tote” is maybe little too long for non-Japanese speaker, so the brand name became 8tote outside Japan, like a wordplay! :)

That’s also the reason why Kiki & Lala wearing honeybee costume here. The pop-up store theme is “floral”, so they are enjoying spring with cute flower fabric and little honeybees on this tote bag.

Because of they are hiding inside, you’ll meet them only when you open the bag… It’s like friends in a secret garden!

Ginza Kimuraya Restaurant

きむらや1

My friend and I went to Ginza Kimuraya restaurant for a dinner.

きむらや3

We had ‘Ginza stew’ which was very popular menu at the restaurant.
Two large blocks of cheek meats of Japanese black beef were cooked in the stew.
We got a surprise about the meat tenderness of the cheek meats. They melted in our mouth so quick.

Also, we were able to have a variety of their breads as much as we wanted.
We enjoyed their very good breads with the stew to look out of the large window next to us.

This is a cozy scarf featuring all over jumbo plaid print from Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Feel great to wear something with the traditional print. I’m sure it makes an essential accessory.

I got a lovely “BAG to basic” eco bag from 8tote. (Yes, yo-ko running this brand!).
The tote bag has some messages… All the quotes are like girls’ basic rules.
As the words “You can never be overdressed or overeducated“, the eco bag is proudly dressing up with a black ribbon brooch.

yo-ko told me a cute idea – you can put the brooch on a handle, and it would become as a charming accent of your shoulder.

We went to Imado Shrine, the shrine is famous for bless of love and “maneki-neko (lucky cat) couple”.
Many girls were coming there to pray for good luck and get cute maneki-neko amulets.

Then we went back to near Asakusa station to eat good tempura-soba.
It was a fun small adventure for the sightseer like us. I’d like to know east side of Tokyo more and more!

I went to Asakusa to enjoy sakura in Sumida Park the early part of April.
The riverside park has about 1,000 sakura trees.
I was born & grown up in the west side of Tokyo, so I haven’t been going there before that day.

There was a wonderful view of sakura with Tokyo SkyTree, and we could see both of riverside became looks like pale pink fluffy ribbons made of sakura trees.
