A friend of mine and I dropped in La Maison ensoleille table to have a cup of tea or coffee, but we could not resist their cute tarts.
Both of us ordered autumn special menu, Waguri Mont Blanc Tart and Kuri-Marron Pumpkin Tart.

We were so happy that we could get cool tees from our favorite movie. We love the film so much. I saw it 10 times now and I’m sure the record will be improved.

Hu-lulu is a good ramen place in Ikebukuro, but it’s not as usual “manly” style in Japan – The shop has full of cute Hawaiian goods and Hawaiian music.

Their ramen soup is mainly from chicken stock, and also they have unique ramen set, with spam rice ball.

Little Twin Stars 70′s Premium Box

I was longing for the tiny picture book of Little Twin Stars origin story published in 1976.
So it was a breaking news – maybe not only for me but all of Kiki & Lala fans – that finally Sanrio decided for reproducing the book with some cute stationeries!

The special box includes a re-sized Little Twin Stars origin story picture book, a small book cover, a pencil case, a ballpoint pen and a sticky memo. All of these are re-design of 70′s stationeries.
And also the box is too cute to throw it away.

USAGI no YUME CHEESE

I got a cute dessert cup at convenience store. Japanese modern-style brush drawing rabbits (USAGI) are hopping around the package with a big spoon. There’s a small story for this sweets – “Moon rabbits are making this dessert secretly, it’s a dream (YUME) flavor of cream cheese on vanilla milk.” Cream cheese and vanilla milk flavored jelly were sweetened by Wasanbon, high quality Japanese sugar.

vintage SEIKO ladies bracelet watch

vintage SEIKO ladies' watch ('68)

I don’t know the eras in real time, so maybe it’s not only the throwback sentiment, I’m in love with old time culture and products, especially Edwardian era and 50s – 70s.

Through our friend’s ongoing watch-repairing project, he shows me one of his latest works, vintage SEIKO ladies bracelet watch that was manufactured in 1968.
The lovely watch is white gold plated and still shining beautifully. I especially like the tiny cursive SEIKO logo. It’s always fun to wind watches up and hear they start ticking small sounds.
